Leersia ligularis var. grandiflora adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika tengah, Lesser Antilles, Brazil selatan, hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Leersia ligularis var. grandiflora diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Christoph Döll pada tahun 1969.
