Leiothrix sinuosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais: Serra do Cipó). Nama ilmiah Leiothrix sinuosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ana Maria Giulietti pada tahun 1988.
