Leonotisnepetifolia var. africana (P.Beauv.) J.K.Morton
Leonotis nepetifolia var. africana merupakan tumbuhan bebentuk perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman) yang siklus hidupnya hanya semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika, Botswana, hingga India. Nama ilmiah Leonotis nepetifolia var. africana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ambroise Marie François Joseph Palisot de Beauvois pada tahun 1962.
