Leontice armeniaca merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Berberidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Leontice armeniaca diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Louis Hyacinthe Boivin pada tahun 1846.
