Lepechinia speciosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Minas Gerais selatan hingga Rio de Janeiro barat-tengah dan São Paulo tenggara). Nama ilmiah Lepechinia speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Saint-Hilaire pada tahun 1935.
