Lepidagathis eucephala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jawa. Nama ilmiah Lepidagathis eucephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1858.
