Lepidaploa gracilis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Lepidaploa gracilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1990.
