Lepidium heterophyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan purpleanther field pepperweed. Nama ilmiah Lepidium heterophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1826.
