Lepidosperma australe adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Lepidosperma australe pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1853.
