Lepidosperma carphoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Selatan. Nama ilmiah Lepidosperma carphoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1878.
