Leptobalanus apetalus var. apertus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Trinidad hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Leptobalanus apetalus var. apertus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 2016.
