Leptochloa longa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Panama, Trinidad. Nama ilmiah Leptochloa longa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1864.
