Leptoderris sassandrensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Leptoderris sassandrensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carel Christiaan Hugo Jongkind pada tahun 2003.
