Leptolaena masoalensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Sarcolaenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Madagaskar timur laut (Semenanjung Masoala). Nama ilmiah Leptolaena masoalensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Edward Schatz pada tahun 2001.
