Leptopteris hymenophylloides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Osmundaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru, Kepulauan Chatham. Nama ilmiah Leptopteris hymenophylloides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Achille Richard pada tahun 1845.
