Leptospermum obovatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New South Wales hingga Victoria. Nama ilmiah Leptospermum obovatum diperkenalkan oleh Robert Sweet pada tahun 1827.
