Leptospermum sericatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Queensland (Leichhardt). Nama ilmiah Leptospermum sericatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Lindley pada tahun 1848.
