Lespedeza thunbergii subsp. satsumensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Kagoshima Pref.). Nama ilmiah Lespedeza thunbergii subsp. satsumensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Takenoshin Nakai pada tahun 2001.
