Lessertia distans merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Limpopo. Nama ilmiah Lessertia distans diperkenalkan oleh Bernard Dearman Burtt pada tahun 1932.
