Lessertia miniata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Lessertia miniata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Terence Macleane Salter pada tahun 1938.
