Lessertia tomentosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Lessertia tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1825.
