Lethedon balansae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kaledonia Baru. Nama ilmiah Lethedon balansae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1963.
