Leucocroton cordifolius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba timur laut. Nama ilmiah Leucocroton cordifolius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1952.
