Leucophyllum frutescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas barat daya hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas barometer bush. Nama ilmiah Leucophyllum frutescens pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1924.
