Leucosidea sericea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe timur hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Leucosidea sericea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Friedrich Ecklon pada tahun 1836.
