Leymus kopetdaghensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Turkmenistan selatan. Nama ilmiah Leymus kopetdaghensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Roman Julievich Roshevitz pada tahun 1960.
