Licania velutina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ekuador timur. Nama ilmiah Licania velutina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ghillean Tolmie Prance pada tahun 1992.
