Licaria excelsa Kosterm.

Licaria excelsa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Licaria excelsa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama André Joseph Guillaume Henri Kostermans pada tahun 1937.
