Licuala tanycola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Licuala tanycola diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harold Emery Moore pada tahun 1969.
