Limnophila indica merupakan tumbuhan semak dari famili Plantaginaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah kawasan tropis dan subtropis Afrika, Eropa dan Asia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan indian marshweed.
