Linanthus californicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California barat daya. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan california prickly phlox. Nama ilmiah Linanthus californicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 2000.
