Lindera assamica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal timur laut hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Lindera assamica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1875.
