Linochilus tachirensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia (Norte de Santander) hingga Venezuela (Táchira). Nama ilmiah Linochilus tachirensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Victor Manuel Badillo pada tahun 2019.
