Lipochaeta heterophylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Hawaii (Molokai, Lanai, Maui). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lavaflow nehe. Nama ilmiah Lipochaeta heterophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1861.
