Lipotriche scandens subsp. dregei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Lipotriche scandens subsp. dregei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 2013.
