Lippia insignis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Lippia insignis diperkenalkan oleh Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1976.
