Lippia lanata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Meksiko (?). Nama ilmiah Lippia lanata diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm Gerhard Walpers pada tahun 1845.
