Liquidambar chinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Altingiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China selatan hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Liquidambar chinensis diperkenalkan oleh John George Champion pada tahun 1852.
