Lithachne pinetii merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan) yang memiliki batang basah (herba). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kuba. Nama ilmiah Lithachne pinetii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Wright pada tahun 1908.
