Lithospermum mediale merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guatemala, Kolombia, hingga Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Lithospermum mediale pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ivan Murray Johnston pada tahun 1924.
