Litsea costalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan Elephant laurel. Nama ilmiah Litsea costalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1969.
