Litsea cuprea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Litsea cuprea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1922.
