Litsea novoleontis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Litsea novoleontis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harley Harris Bartlett pada tahun 1909.
