Litsea quercoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Filipina. Dalam bahasa Filipina tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan marang atau matang-usa. Nama ilmiah Litsea quercoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adolph Daniel Edward Elmer pada tahun 1908.
