Litsea rotundifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China tenggara, Vietnam, Hainan, hingga Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Litsea rotundifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1891.
