Litsea tharpiana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Nuevo León). Nama ilmiah Litsea tharpiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1937.
