Lobelia tarsophora merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Campanulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Hidalgo, Veracruz, Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Lobelia tarsophora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Eliason Seaton pada tahun 1898.
