Lobostemon hottentoticus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Lobostemon hottentoticus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Margaret Rutherford Bryan Levyns pada tahun 1934.
