Lobostemon stachydeus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Lobostemon stachydeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1846.
