Loeselia purpusii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Puebla, Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Loeselia purpusii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1909.
